Perilla Seed Oil
Perilla Seed Oil, derived from the ripe seeds of the lip-shaped medicinal plant purple, is a highly unsaturated natural oil containing alpha-linoleic acid, which contains about 67%, and is the highest fatty acid of any natural vegetable oil found today.
Zisu seed oil is currently known as the highest content of alpha-linolenic acid (a-LNA) edible vegetable oil, and the best quality of zisu seed oil, oil alpha-linoleic acid content as high as 50-70%.
The World Health Organization and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) recommend special supplementation of alpha-linolenic acid in view of the importance of alpha-linolenic acid and the prevalence of human intake.
